Art is not what you see but what you make others see.

Pastel and Mixed Media Paintings
A few years ago, I tried soft pastels and was amazed by their versatility. I fell in love with the immediacy of color, thought and creativity flowing directly through my fingers. I can achieve results that are reminiscent of an oil painting while also incorporating unique mark-making techniques.
I’ve also explored combining techniques and materials for mixed-media paintings. From acrylics layered with various papers and ribbon to soft pastel added to a watercolor for texture—the possibilities are exciting!
By the bay, soft pastel on archival paper, 13" x 10". Available.
